My name is Kylie Plaxico I am a student at the University of Georgia. As my end of the year project for Rhetoric and Pop Culture 2360 I chose to investigate McDonald's and their cultural impact nationally and internationally through the decades. My paper describes McDonald's ability to adapt in almost any geographical location giving most of the reason for their success. The Golden Arches capture the attention of people globally giving a sense of home base to everyone. A brand that lets people relate to each other, no matter race, age, year, location, and status. For the creative part of this assignment I chose to make a collage by cutting out outfits and hair styles from all over the world and each decade since McDonald's put up its' first sign in 1955. They have stick figure bodies and faces to create the since of global equality McDonald's tries to create. It gives a great representation of world togetherness through a brand.
