Painting your house crazy? Indeed, we have been awed and captured with the many houses standing out in a community. There are times you will see houses that are painted with purple, orange and even with dark shades that indeed set the mood.

So if you are thinking about doing the same with your home while others would love these on interior home painting;  there are some things you might want to rethink. Think twice before you get a crazy painting for your home because there are important factors you have to be all set and ready to commit.

Interior Home Painting

We have identified five important factors for you to think over and here they are:

1. Time is Gold, especially when it comes to your painting job

When you want bold colors, think that it is time consuming since it requires extra thick coats; thus requiring too much time. Not only does it require too much time, it requires a lot of money too. If you are in the rush to go from pale to bold paint colors, then think twice. But when you badly needed the transformation for your home or your interior home painting, one great idea is to go for a small scale project. Instead of getting the whole exterior painted, why not paint only the front door? A change in the front door still creates the same appeal but with less cost and time!

2. Think of your location and Geography

A house in yellow or teal can seem become a misfit in a location like in a circle of a city. Definitely, a yellow and teal home in the middle of the city is a head turner; and can come in a very distracting way. However, when you stay in a tropical country and maybe have a beach house, then these choices of colors could be perfect. Think of your home’s natural surroundings and this also plays viral role in choosing the right color of paint for your home. When you are near oceans, mountains or any natural attraction, then you can use this as an inspiration for painting your home and for your interior home painting.

3. How about the Home Owner’s Association

If you live in a community governed by the home owner’s association, you don’t think they would approve you of painting your home in dark purple, do you? Check on your home owner’s association before anything else; or you might be surprised with having been charged with some expensive fines.

4. Think of your house’s Architecture

How does your house look like? Does it seem that you live in a historically inspired home? If so, choosing the right paint color for your home can vary indistinctively. If you live in a modern house, with all the modern design and architecture, painting them in purple can be both distracting and untimely. However, if you live in a farmhouse an earthly shade would be a perfect fit.

Creating a statement for your home is a good way to express your artistry and your style

However, if you are not yet willing to commit to these important factors, then maybe it is time to rethink about it.
