RACE in America - the truth

Your argument is within yourself. Race is only an issue of self-esteem. Image. You choose to believe what people are saying about you. Some rise above. Some wallow in self-pity. You choose. Race is not an excuse. Never was. All people have faced adversity. American racism was the last stop after 1000's of years of African slavery. Quit blaming the American system and start thanking it. It was this system that allowed enough freedom for abolitionists to chisel away the chains of slavery. It was this American system that created such dialogue over the issue of slavery that over 600,000 men gave their lives in a war that was fought largely over the instituion of slavery. Slavery was in fact, an institution, which only now, in the midst of such freedom we enjoy, looks so barbaric. At the time, it was systematically perpetrated by people throughout the world to people throughout the world and was status quo by many. Slavery is not a medal to be worn by those with black skin. All races have endured it. Today, people endure it. People of all races.

Black Americans that cry racism are the squeaky wheel. Whining and squealing until they get the oil. They are crying racism only to get an audience. Those people are performers, making it hard to be human, rather than black, for those blacks who would rather be human first.

Your cries go unheard. America has heard enough. The world will soon have heard enough. The facts are in. Blacks are responsible now for their own mess. Clean it up, or wallow in it.
