I have seen where some of said that Mr. Bolus's ratings are perhaps made with out a lot of effort or information. In his latest girls ratings he has certainly demonstrated both. Out of over 100 players in the state he listed he omitted a young lady from Highland's High School, (Bekah Towles) a 6'0 junior who is being recruited by several division 1 schools and who was on his list last year as a sophomore. Towles is a pre-season top ten pick in the 9th region. She has also been an all conference player in her freshman and sophomore year. What is even more unbelievable is that Mr. Bolus included a player not seen in the region as being a top player nor has ever been named all conference nor even played AAU basketball in the summer. Towles in a game last year while being guarded by De’Sarae Chambers of Mason Co. scored 23 points and had 11 rebounds. Maybe Towles has never paid to attend one of Mr. Bolus's camps. My point is that when you read these ratings by Mr. Bolus take them with a grain of salt. Mr. Bolus Kentuckians take their high school basketball very serious perhaps it's time you do to.
