How do you become a CNA? Since so many people are becoming certified nursing assistant it is essential that they know what CNA is and how they can train and get certified for it.

For anybody interested in becoming a certified nursing assistant training is paramount. This is so because they will be handling humans and sometimes be responsible for their well being. You may think there is nothing involved a taken care of person. But I will put it to you today that there is a lot involved. What is CNA?


Certified nursing assistant are specially trained individuals that are placed in a medical environment to help registered nurses to accomplish task they are informed to do that stays within their set of training. ·       Grooming

·       Potty emptying

·       Moving patients

The above are few samples of what the job description of a certified nursing assistant is. Just like I wrote above, training is important to perform any of the above duties. Applicants must also be certify and license to train in the state they are located.

All training school must meet a minimum of 140 hours of training which is divided into classroom and clinical training. Any student who is unable to meet these minimum requirements must be prepared to miss the state certification examination. As we can see that class attendance is important. If you know you will not be able to attend class at all times please choose a class schedule that will be appropriate for you in order not to waste and throw your money away.


Students who pass their certification examination will be given a state license to practice after their result must have been released to receive your license it will take up to 3 weeks after examination has been written and usually license certificate normally comes through the mail therefore ensure that you indicate your appropriate mail address when filling your form.
