Over the years, the world of sports has been highly impacted by African Americans. Through out the decades, African Americans have shown great abilities to excel in their sport of choice showing that they are equals and even superior to others. African Americans participated in a wide spectrum of sports from boxing to even horse riding. The 20th century is where African Americans flourished in sports. From the early 1900’s to The 1970’s, may African American Athletes created a path for future generations to take advantage of and create names for themselves.
