What type of music your child like most?
There is a moment in all parents’ lives when they begin to wonder if they made a mistake while raising their children. Because of music, this crises faith strike nine times out of ten. So, parents can guide their children on a new musical adventure through jazz, folk, blues and classic. Children have the worst taste in music and they will replay these awful songs to the point. It has been proven over and over that music education greatly improves the children’s developments. The benefits of early music training can’t be disputed but there is a big problem that what kind of music is appropriate for your children?
Some suggestion are there; for the younger age between 2 to 5, it is obvious that childish simple songs are the best selection and children enjoy it without any difficulties. But the problem arises with the next stage when children are in the age of 5 to 10, because this stage is most important for the musical development. This is the core of the matter, usually teachers enforce their own choices and many of the times these choices are classical or folk. But if watched carefully then we know that children don’t seem to enthusiastic about this type of music. So, the first thing is that the choices should belong to the children’s likes and interest. There is a possibility that the child taste of Guitar classes for kids may influenced by peers or TV shows in the wrong way. For example; a large section of heavy metal would transform them more or less into young evil beasts or may be disco and rap music pushes them into a premature understanding of femininity. Some parents may find both situation in a funny way but they are not.
Unlike parents can also influence their children’s taste of music. But enforcement is not a good idea in long run training of your children musical career because it will have reversed effects on children’s minds. As most children do not like classical or jazz music so we should not expect a child to enjoy these type of music with enforcement. On the other hand, some children like pop rock and pre-classical music, although these types of music are difficult to play but parents should give them chances to learn these musical types.
We can say that Piano classes for kids is very important for children’s development and a bright musical future. Many children don’t like some types of music which they are supposed to learn. So for girls, the best choice and most acceptable is to learn medieval music. Medieval music is related to fairy tales which the children loves. Another option for boys is to learn rock music but very carefully selected. Because there are further three type of rock music; bad rock which is mainstream, evil rock which contains cruelty and no mercy. And the last one is good rock which includes protest rock, this is non-evil and non-frivolous songs created on the rock foundations.
