The Indianapolis 500
For nearly 100 years, men and woman of all ages have flocked
from across not only the country, but the world to watch drivers
driving "Indy Cars" around the 2.5 mile oval which is the Indianapolis
Motor Speedway. Nothing can describe the experience of physically being
there, it is mind-blowing and breathtaking, a moment that will never be
forgotten. It is the most populated single-day sporting event in the
world, attracting nearly 400,000 spectators every May. In the present
day, the specialized racing cars reach speeds of around 210 mph,
creating loud speed, exciting everyone watching. There is nothing that
compares with "The Greatest Spectacle in Racing".
