In 1978 Champagne started in Hip-Hop as an M.Cee, she had several songs on the radio in the underground genre "Do U want more?" , "Be Strong Sistas" "A Star is Born" and "The Weekend"....
Champagne has a powerful positive personality, with over 35 years of microphone experience , she was a Radio Host at WNWK 105.9fm in the early 90's where she played HIP-HOP and R&B music; she is currently the host of her own radio show entitled THE CHAMPAGNE THURSDAY RADIO SHOW at RUTGERS University -Newark 103.9fm, which can be seen online www.ustream.tv/channel/wrnu-radio 5:30pm to7:30pm. She also secured record deals for GRAND MASTER CAZ, DREZ From BLACK SHEEP, PUGEE the PHAT BASTARD, Nikki Nicole just to name a few.... She plays a radio host in the new and up coming film "UP IN THE ATTIC" which will be released fall 2009.
