This is a site dedicated to the Chicago Catholic League Blue. Many people consider the CCL Blue the best football league in the state of Illinois. Since the Illinois High School Association (IHSA)
created the state football playoffs in 1974, CCL Blue Teams have won a combined 27 State Titles, along with 11 2nd place finishes.
The Chicago Catholic League Blue is also noted for having many successful players continue their career in the NCAA and NFL. Some examples include
the Philadelphia Eagles' quarterback Donovan McNabb (Mt. Carmel) and the Cleveland Browns' left guard Eric Steinbach (Providence Catholic).
