Introduction:
Hello, my name is Chuka Onya and I am currently a junior, majoring in mechanical engineering at the University of Houston. Growing up, as a kid, I enjoyed playing with my remote control or RC toys. I recall taking my toys apart and trying to put it back in place, which sometimes proved difficult and got me in a lot of trouble with my parents. During my high school years, I took many technical courses, which I very much enjoyed. My dad, who is currently a mechanical engineer, has always been my role model and it is because of his diligence as well, as his creative mind, that I am determined to follow his footsteps.
My ultimate goal is to graduate with a mechanical engineering degree and work in a leading company, where I can garner experience and grow, ultimately becoming a CEO of the company. I want to be a part of a company’s history, as one who will lead a company towards success.
