People love Bamfield so much that they are delighted to have two of them !

West Bamfield is separated from East Bamfield by a small inlet and  is therefore accessible only by boat or by floatplane.

Quainter and quieter than East Bamfield, West Bamfield offers a mile long boardwalk decorated with flower boxes along the waterfront, an old-growth  rainforest, and a sandy beach with spectacular headlands to enjoy,  while watching the ocean and listening to the surf.
