You challenged my spirit, and you challenged my soul. Never could I dream, what the future would hold. We had our differences; it was apparent from the start. Our fights were madness; they were battles of the heart. Times long forgotten, you wanted to re-live. Times of the past, I could never forgive. Our thoughts were not as one, on that very first day; and thus began our journey, and it was a hard and bumpy way. And now as memories have grasped me, and pulled me closer to you. I thank you for your being, as you can only be you. And my wish to you forever, is that you never forget; our lives crossed for a reason, and none of it is regret. And all I hope you take with you, are the times of fun and joy; times of band and memories, that no one can destroy. But know this in your heart for as long as we all shall live… Nothing was ever won or lost; we all just learned to give.
