Final Project:

In this self-portrait collage, I used scanned images, found on web. The white flower from is from fabric and the leaves are real). The creative tools I used included the magnetic lasso for selection, color correction on the image of myself, warping text, using blend modes on the text, playing with the opacity of the color box, and using a gradient for the background. The elements in this image represent my appreciation for nature. The layout of the page is simple and straight forward with a modest color sheme, which I think demonstrates my "less is more" philosophy. The three adjectives that (I like to think) describe me are on ginko leaves, my favorite tree. Nerdy as it is, I often ask people, "If you were a tree, what kind of tree would you be?". Although the image isnt perfect, I think it does a nice job capturing my essence.
