If you're out and about just share your live location, preferably for 8 hours. because 1 hour is too short.

Go to Google maps, click the location where you're going to, then find the share icon, then share to the whatsapp group chats.
This method shares the exact location. The whatsapp method for a static location tends to be inaccurate when away from a road.
Some people finish work late and it can take an hour just to get a reply from anyone.
Media
Basically no media(no video, no images, no audio) unless requested by an admin of that group chat, please send those to the main group chat.
For audio I might consider installing Zello, which is basically a push to talk walkie talkie app
