This website is designed to guide one through the main application process of the United States Air Force Academy. Before one can continue through this process, one must be: A citizen of the United States. Your citizenship must be finalized prior to entering the Academy. You must submit proof of citizenship if you were foreign born or naturalized. Authorized international students are exempt from this requirement. Unmarried with no dependents. Of good moral character. At least 17, but less than 23 years of age by July 1 of the year you would enter. The age requirement is public law and cannot be waived. Of high leadership, academic, physical and medical standards. The Air Force Academy is a diffucult school to be accepted to and difficult in general academics. It recquires good time management, responsibility, and accountability. The mission of the USAFA is to educate, train, and inspire men and women to become officers of character motivated to lead the United States Air Force in service to our nation.
