I am posting a response to this question as I get a lot of questions
about Billy Yeager from my other web-sites where I sell South Florida
memorabilia.
I called a friend of mine to get some more answers; his response is below also hope this helps answer your questions.
I can answer your questions and help you but only you can decide whether or not to sell your one and only album.
Most people will tell you that Yeager's music and films will
increase in value because they are difficult find or download, and most
have been removed on-line.
There are Billy Yeager records selling on E Bay for 200.00 to 300.00
dollars ( consider even Zeppelin and Pink Floyd collectable L.P.'s
don't sell close to this price), ( I will explain this later) and there
is even video footage of Yeager performing selling at auction... all of
this due of course the the increased awareness and value of his aunt
Bunny Yeager and her work ( and now Billy's pictures are becoming
collectable because he is the only "male subject" to be photographed by
his aunt) and the fact that there is a second film documentary being
produced about Billy Yeager and his wife which is getting a lot of
attention from Yeager's publicity stunts.
Personally I don't sell many of his records on this site because
there are others for a "less expensive price" however I keep my prices
in the higher range for many reasons. First it is a rarity that an
artist such as Yeager will get to be collectable, but look at say Bansky
his work is selling for millions today and a lot of this is due to
other things such as the press, and films about him and Yeager has this
also, so what I know is you have to look at the backstory in all of
this.
Yeager was discovered by Grammy Award Winner Bruce Hornsby, he has
received support from some of the greatest such as Pat Metheny, Rod
Stewart, and has even recorded with legendary bass player Jaco
Pastorius. ( There is a link at the bottom I am including where you can
find out more).
This footage of Jaco and Billy playing together is selling for a lot of money on-line.
Consider the fact the Yeager has several films, one of them is the
story of his life, the other he wrote produced directed and acted in,
and several others, but all of them he has kept under wraps for what
reason I don't know, but they are becoming more and more valuable. The
fact that Yeager convinced the International press that he was the son
of Hendrix, or his Florida Highwaymen art that he painted and is selling
for collectable prices, and or all the press he has gotten in the last 5
years with the mysterious piano caper he pulled off, and his newer
films, who knows? But I myself wouldn't sell my L.P.'s for anything less
I have a few of them, and really I think they will increase because of a
new film that is getting a lot of publicity.
I called a friend another collector, he knows everything about the
whole "Yeager family", he knew Billy when he first made the " What's It
Gonna Take" record and he also played with him.
I e-mailed him your question if you don't mind.... and here is what he stated....
"Billy Yeager wasn't fond of playing in bands and performing, there
are no existing videos on youtube unlike everyone else who have 100's of
video clips. Yeager's music is not selling anywhere on line, although
he has many albums, his films that use to sell on amazon etc. are
removed ( maybe by him or his aunt) whatever it is when you have an
artist that makes music, films, produces, acts, and is sort of an
underground type of eclectic type, odds are their work is going to
become valuable...BUT... when it does get valuable, its too late, prices
go up, everybody wants it, supply and demand, and that makes it even
more expensive to buy trust me I know!
I am not sure if this was done purposely by someone who handles all
of Billy Yeager's merchandize, but if it is it was a good marketing
decision.
Billy is an old friend of mine and I made a blog that has a lot of
information about him, spend some time read it carefully, he is like a
Mark Hollis type of artist, disappears from the scene completely. We
collectors know this, it takes a lot of work keeping up with everything
that goes on in the market, but it is a great hobby and addicting also.
If you own the "Boy's Town" C.D. by Yeager..personally if it were
myself I wouldn't sell it, but if you do don't ask less than 2000.00,
this is very rare Yeager made these himself, I know and he didn't sell
that many. Stan Brown
Myself I began to buy other Billy Yeager albums from collectors who
were selling them cheap ( 12.00 / 30.00) now I have very few left but I
did have about 10 of them, each one I sold to collectors for 200.00 to
300.00 dollars, but most were located in Germany and Amsterdam. ( The
U.S. has a tendency to catch onto things way later).
If you want to know more details however, you can go to this link below.

From the looks of this site, it seems like it is run by someone who represents his aunt.
