My name is William Thornton. I have over 24 years experience dispatching in the towing industry, I have worked extensively with AAA and police contractors, and am currently employed with Pizzagoni's Towing in Brentwood, northern California. This experience has given me valuable skills in communication, customer service and problem solving.
I understand that in towing, as in any other service related industry, the customer comes first. For the dispatcher, providing quality customer service means communicating effectively - getting accurate information so that the tow operator is sent to the correct location and that the correct equipment for the job is dispatched. The dispatcher must empathize with the customer and let them know that you are there to help them resolve their problem.
I am computer literate, being proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, and can perform a variety of small office tasks.
