We're known by many names and there when you need us. What is Stark County Community Services? Stark County Community Services (SCCS) was founded in 1992, although it has been helping people since the early 1980's. SCCS is a non-profit corporation registered with the Internal Revenue Service as a 501-C-3 agency. It serves as the umbrella corporation of our combined service organizations, making sure that all services are viable at all times. Over the years, the services of SCCS and its related organizations has grown out of a desire to serve those families and individuals in the county who need a helping hand. When you give to SCCS, the money is used to maintain our organizations where the need is determined to be the greatest.
