Mood:  not sure

We got our puppy when she was just 9 weeks old.  We found her advertised on a local internet classified site and took the hour drive to pick up the puppy.  We had decided to get a mixed breed dog from the beginning, as we have both had mutts all our lives. 

Since we live in an apartment, we wanted to get an apartment sized dog that would be just the right size for his or her surroundings.  When we got to the breeder's home, it was early July so she had the puppies out in a small fenced in area in her yard.  The first two puppies we saw were all brown and both males.  We had decided we wanted a female early on.  In a few seconds out came this little black and white pup from the small dog house and we fell instantly in love!   She has rather big ears and when she was a small puppy the ear size was rather alarming!  Her ears are still large, but is definately one of the most charming features on her.  Our puppy had basically a totally black face when she was young and as you can see from the photo(s) her head changed from black to gray.
