Ashley Reida
My name is Ashley Reida. I live in beautiful Washington State. I have been married to my husband, Reuben, for almost two wonderful years. We married in a small ceremony on the beach in September '07. We plan on having a larger ceremony to include my family in June, 2010. I have two AMAZING children from my first marriage, Joshua, age 8, and Isaac, age 6. I had them at a fairly early age but I wouldn't trade them, or the moments I have shared with them for anything. These three men make up the majority of my life. I also have an awesome group of family and friends, a wonderful mom and dad as well as step-parents, inspirational grandparents, and cousins that may as well be my siblings.
I am a woman with many ambitions. I just recently graduated with my Associate's of Arts Degree at SPSCC, after working in college for 7+ years. I plan to continue my education. I am currently working toward nursing school. I finished all my pre-requisites and am awaiting my acceptance into the program in the winter (keeping fingers crossed). School with two kids is no piece of cake.
Speaking of cake...confection decoration is a new hobby of mine...I LOVE to do it. It is amazing to see a design on the computer and think, "I can do that," and then see it come to life. Even more amazing is when I think up my own design and see everyone stare in awe. I also enjoy many other hobbies such as reading and scrapbooking, but this one is major for now.
