Bullying is the main school issue for children ages 8-15. The effects of bullying can be very harmful. Our purpose is to educate our peers about bullying. We will teach each other what to do when a bully strikes. Whether you are being bullied or happen to be a bystander, everyone needs to know how to handle the situation.

We want to help all the kids that are dealing with bullies in our school. We also want bystanders to know that it is okay to speak up for those who are in trouble. Our goal is to have a bully free school.

If you are experiencing bullying, then you are in the right place. We have some tips for you.

So, what do you do when a bully strikes?

1. Walk away from the bully.

2. Protect yourself. Only if needed to get away from the situation.

3. Tell a trusted adult, parent or teacher.

4. Repeat. If the bully keeps on, you keep telling until something gets done. If the first adult didn't help you in the way you needed, find another adult to tell.
