The Darkness
Mood:  on fire
Now Playing: love?
Topic: poetry

my world is changing my dream is on the horizon like the first morning star seeing it before the dawn of reality breaks it open in its full glory,

the night has been so long and restless dreams and nightmares crashing my head...is the dawn really there? will i see it? or is the just another dream to turn garrish before i wake...it all seems so real the swelling in my chest that chokes into my throat...sometimes it feels like love and the joy is the best i've ever known...sometimes it twists like noose being tightened to strangle me only it's on the inside....i can't take it off and anyway this dream has been going on for a long time and i can't always turn it...i love this part...the part where you came in when you are with me it gives me peace and joy and hope...but it also gave me the rope inside my neck and all i can do is trust you not to hang me...i love you so much in this sleep...so much

Once Upon a Time

Now Playing: The Story of the Silver Wolf
Topic: Make Believe
Once upon a time there was a Handsome Prince. He was very kind as well as handsome. His father the King was a cruel man and it made the Prince very sad. He began to spend his days in the forest to be away from the palace. He loved the forest very much and spent more and more time there. Soon he learned to live so well there that he became part of it and wanted to stay forever never returning to the palace. One day his father the cruel King missed his son and thought that it was time he learned to run the kingdom and that life was not so easy as it seemed. When the king sent for his son however, the prince was no where to be found. The king sent guards to seach for his son. The guards knew that the Prince loved to be in the forest so that is where they searched. Though they searched until nightfall they found no sign of the Prince. Returning to the King empty handed they prepared to search again the next day. Again, the guards searched high and low for the Prince and found nothing, though they did notice something unusual .... a beautiful wolf with silver fur that they had never seen anything like before. The wolf sat high on a ridge and followed their movements. This day also the guards returned to the King empty handed and promised to resume the search at first light. The King was extremely distraught because even though he was a cruel King he loved his only son very very much. In fact, the King may not have been as cruel as he seemed because part of it was just that it was very hard to hold a kingdom together in those days and keep the people safe from other kings and kingdoms that would only take them as slaves and destroy their homes.  The frantic King with a sickened heart thinking that his son must be dead sent even more guards out to the villages as well. This day the searching men again saw the beautiful silver wolf watching their movements from a safe distance. Never having seen something like this before they reported it to the King. The people in the villages were afraid when they heard the news from the King for the search for the Prince. They thought that in his greif over his son the King would become even more cruel to them. They decided to bring gifts to the palace to try to comfort the King at least, but what could they bring? They were very poor from paying the high taxes required by King already and had nothing fit to give their King. One hunter decided to search the forest for a gift when he saw a most unusually beautiful silver wolf. Never having seen something so beautiful he thought this would make a good gift for the King a gorgeous rug of the beautiful silver fur. He shot the silver wolf but only wounded it and in shock beyond his wildest imagination he saw not the beautiful silver wolf but the instead the Prince with an arrow in his shoulder just above the heart. The Hunter was sick with fear and amazement over what had happened. What would he do? If he brought the Prince back wounded the King would surely have himself killed, and if he ran to hide it the Prince would surely die. The hunter did bring the Prince back to the palace. He never got a chance to explain what had happened and no one would have believed him anyway. The king did have him put to death and immediately the best healers in the kingdom were brought for the care of his son. Eventually the King learned the truth of what had happened and the Prince was well again. They never really did understand each other competely but they both tried and did better.

This sucks
Mood:  on fire
I spent 6 hours typing my heart out to post here. I saved it as a draft and clicked edit to correct errors I saw before posting. The text was all there and I clicked Save again thinking it would let me see the page again to proof read once more before posting....it saved the title...that's all ....just the title. Nothing posted, nothing in drafts, couldn't even back arrow the page to six hours of typing my heart out. It wasn't there.
