A couple of notes about the following assignment: My resume lists my education and experience up to this point, which means that it is clear to the reader that I have not completed the MLS yet. However, I wrote the cover letter as though I have already completed the degree, as I would not be applying for a job without having first earned the MLS.
The job ad for which I wrote my cover letter appears first, followed by the cover letter and then my four-page resume.
