Like plastic surgeries, cosmetic procedures also aim in improving the patient’s body. They are geared towards enhancing the person’s appearance  whether it’s improving the aesthetic appeal, the symmetry, and the proportion of whatever it is the person wants to change. It can be any part of the body - from the head down to the lower extremities. And many of these procedures are not cheap. In fact, many of them come with a heavy price tag.

Rhinoplasty

Also known as the ‘nose job,’ rhinoplasty is one of the most popular cosmetic procedures. People who have problems on how their nose looks - whether they find it large, crooked, or too small can benefit from this procedure. Aside from aesthetic purpose, rhinoplasty can also help improve breathing problems associated with one’s nose structure.


The typical price for a nose job is around $15,000. There are cases that cost more and it depends on the scope of the job. Many people who have done a nose job usually goes back to redo it so that requires another procedure and additional cost.


Liposuction

Liposuction is a procedure that helps get rid of unwanted fats in the body. It is a popular procedure not just among celebrities but also those who want to get into better shape.


This procedure usually requires the insertion of a small stainless steel tube into the skin. It is through this tube where the unwanted fats will be suctioned. This intrusive surgery costs between $5,000 and $15,000 depending on the amount of fat you wanted to get rid of.


Face Lift

Women, in particular, start to become more conscious as they age because of the effects of aging in the skin. Collagen loss, which can result from drop in the level of estrogen  and aging, can result to sagging skin. This is where full face lift can help.


Full face lift can make one look younger but it doesn’t solve all the aging-related problems on the skin. Depending on the extent of the procedure, full face lift can cost $25,000 and in some cases, it can cost more.


Face Transplant

There are movies that introduce the concept of face transplant. This procedure actually exist in real life. It is a complex procedure and one that is considered to be a very expensive one.


Face transplant usually involves several procedures. Depending on the extent of damage, it may involve transplantation from the scalp down to the neck. Plus, a patient who undergoes a face transplant need to go back for several check-ups to make sure that the body doesn’t reject the new face. Aside from the procedure, the patient also needs to spend money for medications.


Full Body Lift

Full body lift is a cosmetic procedure typically done on those who used to be overweight who have lost a lot of weight. This procedure typically involves cutting out excess fat and pulling the skin so the person would have firmer skin. This procedure costs between $35,000 to $40,000.
