The difference between this sensor system and others is the absence of a need for a reset button, and therefore, reset wires. The circuitry containers a timer which can be set to long or short (currently I am suggesting 1 and 9 seconds, although these can be specified prior to construction). The LED lights after the attached sensor is triggered. After the specified period it goes out automatically. The ONLY long wire needed is the one that stops the timer.

In competitions you would set the period to long whereas short would be used in practice or general plinking.

There are two types of module, Standard and Timer modules.

Both Module types are in aluminium cases with an LED. The standard module takes either 2xAA or 1xPP3 (9V square type) and has one phono type connector for the sensor. The timer module needs 1xPP3 and has two phono type connectors, one for the sensor and one for the timer trigger.

The Modules can accept normal switches as sensors but also take the preferred Piezo-electric type; they just have to plug into the phono input on the modules.
