VSI, with its expertise in the structural design, marketing and manufacturing of steel tapered tubular products to a wide variety of markets, including federal projects, has been in business since 1984. The principals are registered professional engineers in ten (10) states and with the National Council of Professional Engineers (Clemson, SC). The majority of steel pole products designed for these projects have been manufactured by VSI, constructed of formed tubes and sized for specific loading conditions. VSI is certified by AISC (American Institute of Steel Construction) to fabricate structural steel products of required quality for Conventional Steel Structures and Simple Steel Bridges (a copy of this certification is attached). This certification classifies and qualifies VSI, among an elite group of shops worldwide, which are qualified with the knowledge, capability, experience and equipment for exacting steel fabrication and welding. AISC demands only the highest quality in welding, procedures and welders' certifications.
