These furnace burners I make for about $150.00.
I made an ally furnace from a 30 litre paint tin, then priced a burner. The Charmichaels burner was $370.00 au, the cheaper copy was $290.00. The cones were shaped using the forge, hammer and anvil. I used cardbaor...cardourd....thick paper to make the template for the cones, I later looked up the formula for cones and still use thick paper and sticky tape to make the templates. to be honest...if it doesnt work out, WHO CARES! Do it again, you will learn more from "MARK I" for the next one.
Speaking of forge...

Im not the best at wood work although I am having a go at it. The Candelabra was hand forged by me and the table was to slow the nagging down a bit. The trade off between junk and hourding and what you make the little goddess, equals some sort of stay of execution....sort of.. :-)
