Well,
right now I'm trying to find some poker chips. Yes, robot designers are always
looking for some strange piece that "fits", and this is it. I will
drill holes in the chip and use it to connect the motor arm, which is basically
an X shaped piece of plastic with holes in it connected to the motors axle.
Once the chip is connected to the motor axle, all I do then is align a second
chip with the same holes and connect that to the roller, or wheel, axle which I
made out of plastic water bottles, some plastic rods, clay and glue. That way
it lets me connect the roller directly to the wheel. Yeah, it sounds complex
but here are some concept drawings.
