The front fender is painted to match the rear and the tank. You can see that the fender is molded like the rear and has the chevron design. One mistake I have since found is the fended is riveted to the mount. Water has gotten around the rivets and has rusted and bubbled the paint.
The diamond plate has been added to the floorboards, I made a mistake here, I spayed Clear over the diamond plate, all it did was make it dull. I am working at getting it off, BUMMER. You can see how the rear passenger floorboards were mounted. Down the road I am going to add 1/2" cold roll around the floorboards to keep the wifes feet from slipping off.
The frame and tins are being assembled, that ugly fat guy is me. I was thinking hard you can almost see the smoke. The tanks and seat are all installed, the handlebars and new risers are shown. The saddle bags fit perfectly between the swing arms. The shop is a mess, oh well at least I am working. The wiring is run through the frame and just waiting for the engine to be installed. The disc brakes are on the transaxle, ready for the fenders and wheel to be put on.
The wiring is run through the frame and under the seat for a neat look. Fuse panel is mounted under rear of seat, one screw on seat and you have access.
The Dash is wired, all wires are hooked to a terminal block, so that they can be disconnected if needed.
The tank is installed with the gauges, makes for a real clean look, key switch below gauges.
The front bumper guard is installed, I had it chromed, boy I am going to take real good care of it, cost $150.00. I almost went into sticker shock. I have since mounted a piece of diamond plate to keep the dirt from the front wheel from getting all over the floorboards.
