About This Layout

This layout is named "Velvet". This is another of my Parasite Eve techy looking design. This design is less "techy" looking with a more abstract look. I had initially plan not to use Aya, but I need something to fill in the voids and since I had spent many hours on the previous Aya image, it'll fit in with the design concept. so here you are, another Aya design. :b

As asked by some others about the recent craze on frames layout that are too small, this one is more like tables. Its only classified under frames category because of the tagboard iframe. Other than that, use this layout just as you would with a tables layout.

Using This Design

Download the zip file containing all the files for this layout, and use WinZip or any other compression program you have to extract the files into a single folder.

1. Navigation is customized in index.html.
2. Tagboard is in tagboard.html.
3. The CSS is in style.css which sets the colors and font face for the design.
4. Title image is (title.gif), open it in a graphics editor and add site title to it.
5. The navigation imagemap is menubody.gif) which is blank, so add text to it using a graphics editor (eg MS Paint). If you want to use text links, just remove the image from the menu cell (see comments where indicates <!-- remove here if using text links -->), if not just use normal imagemap code generated by your image mapper program.
6. Save and upload everything onto your host or sign up for a free host (like Tripod) if you haven't one.

You should have a good understanding of HTML codes and CSS codes. Read the readme.txt in the zip file for customizing this layout.
