I first made this video, dedicated to the Ancients/Ascended of Stargate SG-1, back in March of 2004. Now, nearly 3 years later, I've gone back and re-edited the entire thing, using all of the clip material from the DVDs (amazing the difference in quality it makes compared to the original, which was made up mostly of entire episodes less than 30mb in size, lol). I fought valiantly against the urge to change this video around, and so it makes no reference to nor uses any material from after the Season 7 finale, so nothing new from Atlantis, either. If there were any changes made, there were very minor, consisting of the odd time-change or clip change (although all from teh same episodes used originally), just to make the video flow smoother and work better with the music - so please note, I also resisted the urge to change things around to reflect what I hope have been my evolving and expanding vidding skills over the years, for the same reason.
I chose to redo this video, in particular, because despite the quality of the original (both the quality of the clips used, and my lack of vidding skills at the time I made it), I still thought of this video as one of my favorites - I loved the subject, and I have continued to love this song. So I hope you enjoy!
