This title is for PS2 only. All in all this is just another racing game. When the PS2 first came out it was just something to pick up until GT3 came out, so don't expect much. Ridge Racer V is the first street racing type game Namco ever made. By street racing, I mean imaginary cars with powerful engines. There is no customization to this game. You can change the cars color...Woo. The tracks are very well thought out in terms of difficulty and you get six cars; 3 drift and 3 grip. The environments are nice considering they're all in the same city, but by the time you get through your third lap you'll be bored with the scenery. The only real flaw with this game is it doesn't feel like your going fast at all. The speed gauge says you're going 160 but it looks like you're driving 20 in a development. I will say that you do get bonus cars for beating the times in the time trial. Those cars are nice and fast, but slow at turning. And considering its a Namco game, you can also unlock Pac-man for beating the game the first time. This game gets a 6 out of 10 -if you're into racing games its good to add to your collection
