Three ring for the Elven Kings under the sky,
Seven for the Dwarf Lords in their halls of stone,
Nine for the mortal men doomed to die,
One for the Dark Lord on his Dark throne.
In the land of Mordor where shadows lie.
One Ring to rule them all,
One Ring to find them.
One Ring to bring them all and in the darkness bind them.
In the land of Mordor Where shadows lie.
(continuation begins here)
A dark ring for a dark Lord,
Where in his shadow we cower,
He used to be weak but now he is strong,
Filled with the darkeset of power.
He set on a quest to conquer mid-Earth,
But was slain by Islidur.
The light returned and a lesson was learned,
And things were as they once were.
But the Ring was lost in a watery grave,
And Islidur himself was slain.
It lay it a river thought to be lost,
And was thought never to be mentioned again.
Years passed but by a fish carried from it's deep blue home.
The brother who caught it was slain by the other,
To make the rings of his own.
The Bilbo retrieved it but Frodo recieved it,
And was sent on a quest to destroy it by fire.
By King Elrond's command he was sent to a land.
Far from his home in the shire.
His quest was simple "Dispose of the Ring",
Though he needed the help of eight men.
They couldn't have known what their quest would bring,
But they wouldn't give up untill then.
Their mission was perilous and yet they succeded,
Thou treding upon a thin line.
For even the creature Gollum was needed,
To despose of the Ring in time.
The ring had a hold on Frodo the bold,
and Gollum relieved him of this.
He bit off his finger with no time to linger,
Before he fell into the fire's abysse.
So ends the quest to dispose of the Ring.
As does Mordor's gloom.
For crownless Aragorns was made again king,
And Frodo rid of the Ring of Doom.
