Plot
Fudoh is one of those movies that promises far more than it can ever really deliver, but I'm not sure that's the fault of the filmmakers. Adapted from a manga of the same name, Fudoh tells the story of Riki, son to a formidable yakuza clan leader. His brother, Ryu, strikes back at the rival Nioh gang for having gunned down one of their own, and Riki's father murders Ryu himself to avoid a reprisal.

Riki grows up and enters high school. There, with the aid of a whole freak-show of sidekicks, he keeps the whole place under his thumb, and has started rubbing out rival gang leaders left and right through some highly unorthodox assassination techniques. One scene features a yakuza leader pulling his chauffeured car into a service station and being offered coffee by one of the girls there. Too bad she doesn't really work there -- and as it turns out, the coffee has the nasty side effect of eating fist-sized holes in the guy's neck.
