This temple was located in the mountain village of Orneous, which seemed quite big to be a village. Daikage learned a good lot of martial arts there as well as sword techniques. He was good friends with the Sage, Elson. Elson fiqured out of Daikage's race, told him all about it, showed him how to control his powers, and brung him up at times of doubt. Elson was a elder man but very wise and was the guardian of the Elder Tomes. The Elder Tomes are 4 books containing infromation on magic form a mage long ago that nearly caused the world doom. Elson was also training a sucessor, Garreth a 13 year old boy who was very timid but wise in the arts of magic none the less. One night all of a sudden a army of unknown figures raided the village in search for the Tomes. Daikage tired to fight them off along with help but the numbers were overwhelming. The Sage sensed that they were here for the tomes, he saw this coming a while back. In desperate measures the sage teleported the tomes into random locations, each going there seperate ways. The Sage expecting for them to come into the shrine and searching, the army suddenly disappeared leaving behind destruction and some casualties. Seeing this, Elson thoguht it obvious that the army had some type of tracking device on the Tomes. Elson spoke to Daikage, asking him to travel out of the village to get back the Tomes. Daikage had never been at the outside world but he was up for it, agreeing.The next day Daikage was off. He didn't have the slightest idea of where to start but he would find out eventually. After visiting various realms and such he accquiered the 4 tomes with much effort and stamina. Daikage, eager to go back to Orneous with the tomes went hastily, not wasting any time. Once he got there he gave the tomes to the Sage, Elson told Daikage that from there he would take them to Efil, the grand shine of sages for safe keeping. Daikage nodded in agreement and told Elson he would be off back to the new realms he has come across to broaden his experience and overall potential. None the less he would be around frequently to see how the village is doing, with the task done and such Daikage turned and left the village again, hoping to see even more new realms and locations he had yet to know of, perhaps him picking this decision wasn't only for his experience but for a senerio for Fate to portray.
