This racing sled has something in it.. But watch the bellies, why they are so long?
My first selfmade pipe for sled engine (Rotax 583). Tried several new techniques and as result of that, quality of fabrication is rather poor. Anyhow, it worked well and noise of (unsilenced) pipe was horrible..
Sideview of the same pipe, note nice blueish color almost up to belly and again before stinger. Distinctive arch of exponential horn is clearly visible.
Next step is to build twin pipes (I am urgently looking forward to it), and at the moment they are in design phase. Hopefully within a month they are installed and photos and performance comparisons will be seen here.
