Disadvantages
Sunscreen has to be reapplied every 30 minutes to ensure maximum protection against UV rays. This would be somewhat of a hassle to interrupt your time in the sun to apply more sunscreen
If the sunscreen used is not waterproof, than it will be washed off easily and would have to be reapplied.
Some people do not like the feel of sunscreen as some are thicker than others which would leave behind a sticky and clammy feel on their skin which results in an uncomfortable feeling
Some sunscreens would leave a stain or residue on the clothing that is placed on top of the skin
