Frame is at the shop getting tigged,it's taking the welder a while to get to it because it's riding season and I'm not the kind of guy who bitches about a job that won't be finished for a year when others need help to go riding right now.I expect the frame to be all welded up soon and then there will be more fabricating,a new cross-member for the tranny and motor mounts and a single center post and of course the upperpart of the hardtail and axle plates.I couldn't bring myself to buy a hardtail for $200 when it's only $75 of D.O.M. so I bought the steel tubing from onlinemetals and went to a friend who had a Greenlee 555 bender (used for electrical conduit) and bent it myself.Another issue is I could not find a pre-fabbed hardtail made from 1-1/8 tubing. (the size of the tubing the frame is made of) Having a little trouble getting the motor ('62 Super Rocket A-10) apart as it lay on the floor of a barn for 20-odd years but working on it.
Center tube extension (which is already in the second pic above) along with the upper sides of the hardtail that extend from the center tube to the axle plates.Going to cut them to fit and send it back to the welder, the brackets and such I will weld myself but I don't tig (yet) so the expert gets to do this part.
