We are a MUD that has been open since 1996.

A MUD is a Multi-User Dungeon, essentially a chat-room on steroids. You can role-play, chat with friends, kill monsters, and adventure. There is no set path of what you should do to advance, rather it is an open ended game where you determine your path.

To play a MUD all you need is a telnet client (if you're using windows, you have one built-in), and an internet connection (since you're looking at this webpage, I assume you have that).
