Well, I haven't really done alot of murals, a couple in High School and a couple afterwards. I mainly will do anything that has to do with drawing or painting. I did charge for some of the murals. The approximate rate was about $14 per hr but it was dependent on the size and amount of time needed to complete, so if the mural took longer amount of time the hourly rate was reduced. Most of the murals were full wall (top to bottom) including painting the background however it does take more time to draw well known characters. The mural of the firemen (boys) took less time since it was a freehand drawing of my own creation, but I was mostly satisfied with my work and was really appreciative of the people whom I did the murals for since they did have to have some patience being that I did the work after my regular day job and on days off. Thanks for taking the time to browse these pictures.

Castle Wall---

The main theme of the nursery was based on the famous Disney Princesses. To tie in all the different walls I just incorporated hills and other animals, so these characters wouldn't just be floating around. I had to put most of the pictures higher up on the walls since most of the baby furniture would cover the grass area of the walls (bottom of walls). This is the first wall of the nursery. Do keep in mind that these were painted on really textured walls so there may be some glare that looks like white spots on the pictures.

Second and Third Wall---

The second and third wall were merged onto one page because third wall was really small. The way the room was set up was really odd, so on one wall there was a drop in the wall where the sliding closet door was inserted. The second wall had the characters of Beauty and the Beast and a huge tree to go with the theme of the room. The third wall has Cinderella's carriage and missing shoe (if you look very closely).

Fourth Wall, Ceiling, and Door---

Well, I just put these last three pictures together because there all single pictures. The Fourth wall mainly consisted of this one Fairy Godmother that was placed on the wall over where the baby's crib would go. Next to the Fairy was the only window in the room so it took up some space. The rest of the wall was mainly sky and little flying insects because there was going to be a dresser there that would take up most of the wall.

Toddler's Spiderman Mural---

After I finished the nursery, I did a minimural on another wall in a toddlers room. It only consisted on Spiderman, of course it was a little boy's room. I was a weird place to put a mural but that was the only space available, so I had to put it right next to the window and Spidey's arm had to grab on to a tiny bit of another wall. I would have done it in the corner but of course the sliding door got in the way. He also had his name put on his door.

Fireman's Room--

This room didn't take me quite as long as the Disney room since I made up these characters. There is a fire hydrant painted on the lower part of one of the walls but I guess I didn't take a picture of it...either way the hose is hooked up to it. This room was a toddlers who was going from a crib to a toddler's firetruck bed. He had marks on the wall from marking his height so I made him a little growing tree, so he could keep track on a little tree of his own. This room's ceiling wasn't painted upon request just a little smoke from the fire. It would have been too hard anyways because it had that shot texture on it.
