loving encouragement during difficult times,
and assistance in all stages of labor, delivery, and postpartum.

Offering Birth plan consultation, one-on-one personal education, prenatal, labor and postnatal services, lactation consultation, nutrition classes and more!
Offering assistance to women seeking to take charge of their birth experience!
I fully believe that this it the most wonderful experience a woman can have and should be enjoyed throughout pregnancy and birth.

There have been many studies that have considered the benefits of professional labor support.
These studies have included more then 5,000 women and took place in
Canada, Finland, France, Botswana, Guatemala, Greece, South Africa and the United States.
They have considered the length of labor, the cesarean rate, the rate of other interventions, and the maternal/newborn bonding.
All of the studies show that the women who had a doula present had fewer interventions, fewer epidurals, shorter labors, and higher maternal/newborn bonding.

A doula does not take the place of your partner if you wish him to be there, in fact, I can help him
be as involved as he wants to be.
I provide extra emotional support, a familiar face, education, and physical support throughout labor.

I am there to make sure you have the birth experience YOU want.
I am your advocate and will speak up for you when you might not be able to.
