Sincere apologies for lack of updates. Life has been hectic lately, marching band has started up and it leaves me so wiped that I'm currently experiencing writer's block...sorta. I've got something going on in my mind but I really want to dwell on it a bit before I try to write anything. I've also been trying to think of some short story ideas, I really enjoy writing those, but again, writer's block. School starts in a little more than a week, I haven't finished my summer work for AP United States history and I spent half of last week convincing my parents to let me go to Europe for four weeks next summer to tour with a concert band (they agreed...yay!). Anyways, so look for updates ahead...I'll try and get something out, even if it's just the last two (very rushed as I remember) chapters of Running Scared.

Yeah...so I've been home a week and I haven't updated...oh well, not like anybody visits here anyway (and if you do...leave comments! Or critiques! Seriously...I'm dying for input).
Two updates, first, chapters 4 and 5 of Running Scared...only two chapters left on that. And then in One Tree Hill fanfic, chapter 4 of The Search for Who He Was, and Is...which I'm thinking of renaming by the way if anybody has a suggestion.

To ward off my usual rambling as I make this update before I go to bed so I can get up before six tomorrow to go to camp...grr...I'm going to make a list:

Okay, just a note to tell you that I won't be updating until Tuesday when I'm going to put up a mass update (well as massive as I can manage) to compensate for me going to camp for twelve days. So far, the update is already going to include more chapters of Running Scared and The Search for Who He Was, and Is. Also, I'm going to put up a new layout.
Hopefully this was get larger over the next few days (I'll make the update late Tuesday probably).

Apologies a million time over. But I've finally updated so...yay! Instead of going somewhere to watch fireworks, here I am. So...
In fanfic I've got chapter 4 of A Heart Divided and in personal fiction I've added the three part prologue to a new story (which is actually already finished) titled Running Scared.

Yay! My internet is back up! (much sooner than I'd expected!) Now, the only problem is is that I don't know where all the back up files are. I was all psyched to write and now, we're gonna have to wait a little longer. Anyways, keep your eyes open for updates (seriously...oh, well, I'll try).

So a lot has changed since four days ago with the status of my computer. We are now offically backing up everything on the computer and then wiping it clean and rebuilding it again. So...hiatus is going to be a lot longer than I was hoping and I won't really be able to write. I apologize...I wish I could keep this up for now but, give me a few weeks to get everything back.

So I promised over a week ago that summer would mean weekly updates...that was before the internet on the computer where I do all of my work died. The computer's fine and so are all my files but currently I'm writing this from my basement, not the office, on the computer I don't like. Hopefully my dad, my brother, and I will figure this out and I'll be up and running again on that computer soon (it's also currently interferring with my MP3 and the ability to know what CD is being ripped...grr...).
For now, I'm on a slight hiatus, I'll try to keep writing though (I've got a bunch of crap to do as well). Sorry for the inconvience all of you lurkers (there's gotta be some, I'm getting page hits every day, a semi-decent amount too and I haven't visited in ages...so talk!)

Okay, kinda pointless short story that I just wrote 'cause I was inspired by the rain. Surprsingly, it's entitled Rain.
Also, the last two chapters of Life on the Lake have been posted.
I've worked on A Heart Divided but I don't think I'll be updating it quite yet. I haven't worked on much else.

So instead of studying my Spanish oral like I should be, or completing my chem packets...I've made a puff-paint t-shirt for my AP Euro Final and updated here.
I think I might have my priorities off.
Okay, in FanFiction, a One Tree Hill song fiction Goodbye My Lover based off of James Blunt's song "Goodbye My Lover".
In Original writing, I added the short journal like thing I mentioned last update to short stories, it's entitled Loss. And also, two new chapters of Life on the Lake, which are kinda corny but they're fluff! I remember they were fun to write...yeah.

I wrote a (really) short piece called "Loss" last night but it's kinda personal, I might post it. I cried when I wrote it, it's semi-journal like...yeah. Let me know your opinion.

Okay, two updates, pretty decent. School's coming to an end so I may not be updating as often since I've got finals and a project but after June 6th I am free (well...I have summer school...but that's just consumer economics) so I will try to write more! And to get some more of my original stories I've written up. But in the meantime...
Gilmore Girls fanfic, A Heart Divided, Chapter 3. I know I've mentioned this about three times but...I really like this story. It's fun to write. I like the AU writing.
And in my own, Life on the Lake,, Chapters 3 and 4.

I come bearing lots of updates! First, in personal fiction, chapter 11 and the Epilogue of For the Love of Rebels. And since I have finished that one up, I'm now going to start putting up my story Life on the Lake which is also complete already but I'm just trying to get my writing up here. I've added chapters 1 and 2 of that.
Now, in fan fiction, one Gilmore Girls and one One Tree Hill each. For Gilmore Girls, chapter 2 of A Heart Divided. I'm really liking how this story is coming along, I have it all planned out now as I said in my previous update so...yeah. I'm excited! And in One Tree Hill, I've hit a roadblock with Finding the Only One Tree Hill but I have added my new story that I mentioned last update! Chapter 1 of The Search for Who He Was, and Is is up.
And on non-writing related notes, anybody have any ideas for how I can get more traffic flow to this site? I've tried getting linked elsewhere but I can't really figure out where else to try because it hasn't been happening. All ideas are welcome! Okay, updates to For the Love of Rebels, chapters 8-10. I don't know if I've mentioned this before but For the Love of Rebels is already completed and now I have only two chapters left so look for those!
Other than that there are no updates on the site but I have started another One Tree Hill fanfic (when the season finale happens I get motivated to write fanfiction more because I don't have new developments occuring) called The Search for Who He Was, and Is which is Alternate Universe. The summary is:
Dan married Karen, not Deb, but he didn’t know he even had another son. When tragedy strikes Nathan Lee’s life though, he heads off to find out who he is and who his father is, to be met with the interesting people of One Tree Hill, North Carolina.
I know it kind of sounds like the episode where Nathan dreams during surgery but it's not. I haven't started writing but I have it all planned out...a first for me with a story (well...A Heart Divided was eventually planned out...I have been working on that too by the way, I haven't decided if I should update or if I should write more of a chapter 'cause it's at a good spot to stop now but I could still add more...yeah, I'm rambling).
Anyways, look for updates there soon...I've it a bit of writers' block with Secrets and a whole lot of writers' block with Finding the Only One Tree Hill but I'll try and figure some stuff out with that.
I'm also trying to find some way to advertise, I'm not sure how to go about it. I've tried contacting other sites about linking me but many it's weird because I'm not completely fanfiction (although I am majority) and I have three different shows...yeah. So all ideas welcome!

Hey, just a note to all of you readers (if you even exist...) that I'm probably not going to be updating here until after May 5th. In order to keep from distracting myself from school with this site I've tried to keep to updating mainly on weekends but this weekend I'll be gone, I have my scholarship application from the band (so I can be a band geek and go back to Blue Lake) due May 1st, and May 5th is my European History AP exam...which I REALLY need to focus on. I do have multiple half days this week so possibly I will update but I'm going to try and avoid it.
I promise though, I will be back, most likely I'll get some more of For the Love of Rebels up at first since that's all written but we'll see what ends up happening over the next two weeks.

So I am crazy...and having slight writer's block (although I did write a little bit of A Heart Divided but not enough for an update) so I made three layouts today. On top of the other few I already have ready. In other words...we're on version 9 right now at Flying-Solo but I've made up through version 15. The current layout (which I love...Nathan/Haley! Yay!) has been up for almost ten days which isn't enough so...it'll be a few more weeks probably before you get the new layout (which I think is a Rory/Paris friendship one but don't hold me to it). Anyways, so just know that I haven't abandoned this site again you non-existant readers (actually...this page had 200-something views yesterday...well at least pages of the site...confuddling since nobody leaves notes). Perhaps I'll try and do some advertising later this week. I have three half days at the end so...I'll have loads of time (haha...juniors have to test, as a sophomore I totally just have to go to four classes a day!) Okay, done rambling. That's it.

Ooo...this is actually me updating, not just rambling! Anyways...first off everything for Big Waves is up, so that means chapter 10 through the Epilogue (there are twelve chapters and then the Epilogue). I've also added more to For the Love of Rebels, three chapters (three-five) and then one brand new chapter of Secrets.
That's it, possibly going to try and write some fanfic tonight but dunno if I'll finish a chapter and post it. I've got early practice tomorrow so I have to go to bed in like an hour.

No updates but I am debating possibly having my own domain name. If I pay like a little more than $8 a month then I can have something through Angelfire that means I get my own domain name (so no more http://www.angelfire.com/me5 before the URL) and it's ad-free...or I could do the one that's like a little more than $4 and it's the same URL but no ads still...I'm debating. Any opinions?
I'll try and write some more...but I do have Spanish homework and I've got a C+ in Spanish II right now so I should probably work on it...

I just wanted to say I added chapters 6 and 7 of Secrets which is all I have written so whenever I update now, it'll actually be new. And I'm actually going to stop posting it at Open Diary where my writing has been lately.
Going to try and add some fanfiction since all I've added lately is Original Ficiton, but that means I've gotta write. I have an hour and ten mintues until I have to go get my little cousins who are staying overnight and spending Easter with us so...we'll see what happens.

Two additions, a short story Phantom Leg which I had to write for my English class this year in the style of Ernest Hemingway but I really enjoyed it so I decided to post it. Also, the first three chapters of Secrets another personal fiction piece. That unlike Big Waves is actually still in progress, not just being put up in installments (because I actually have a life, as hard as that is to believe). There are seven chapters written and more to come eventually, but for now, you just get there (the non-existant you out there...I need to advertise...blah). I'm planning on possibly posting some more of Big Waves tonight maybe, and possibly starting a Gilmore Girls fanfic I have in my head...or actually work on one of my old ones...a miracle, I know.

Wow, it's the lucky weekend for this site, three updates in two days. Okay, so the new layout is up on almost most of the site, about a three-quarters of the Gilmore Girl fanfictions still need to have it added but there's a lot there, plus I just changed how the layout is set up on this site which is why it's taking so long. But I have added more than the new layout now. My first One Tree Hill fanfic has been added When Panic Leads You Home has been added to the new One Tree Hill FanFiction area of Flying-Solo. It's a one parter, my actually story (which only has two chapters so far), Finding the Only One Tree Hill will be up eventually.

It has been over a year since my last update...wow. I've kept writing, just not upkeeping this site (which I bet nobody comes to anymore). But I may start it up again, and as a sort of "downpayment" (real world projects sucks...anyway, that was off topic) here's a new layout! Perhaps I shall add my two One Tree Hill fanfictions as well...we shall see.
Also, I'm going to be trying to redo parts of the site, such as the comment system I'm going to set the same one for the whole site so no matter what you comment on, it'll all be there in one place (so if talking about a story, specify which one!)

So not as soon of an update but sooner than most, and pretty large. First in the Marching Band fanfic section, chapters 9-11 of

Then the first chapter (finally, I added the Prologue in June) of Where Her Heart Lies. Another addition to On Eagle's Wings with the sixth chapter. Finally two stories that I've just added with their prologues; A Heart Divided and the third in the Angel trilogy (including In The Arms of the Angel and Fly Away From Here) Silent Reverie. Two updates in two days? It's like Christmas at Flying-Solo! First off, I have finally finished my Gilmore Girls fan fic He Wasn't Supposed to Come Back with it's final two chapters (note: chapter six has been up at FanFiction.net since like September). And to continue with catching up Two Flutes, a Mello, and a Pitter to where I have it at FanFiction.net I've added Chapters 3 through 8 (the posting at FanFiction.net is up to Chapter 11 and I've currently written through Chapter 25.) That's it for now but I plan on putting up my AU Gilmore Girls fic, Heart Divided, the prologue at least since I'm still working on Chapter 1, within the next few days. I'm really hoping for more updates in the new year at Flying-Solo and I hope I can keep up with what I've been doing. Oh, and also, I do not mean to sound whiny or desperate but if you could please use those "# Writers Critqued" on the stories that you read to tell me what you like or don't like about the story you're reading (if it is a work in progress, stating at what chapter you left off would be useful). I enjoy consructive critism and I hope the (very) few of you visiting here realize that and at least let me know that you're around and reading...it keeps me motivated for more stories and chapters and basically updates in general.

And only am I not dead, but I've made two updates! First, chapter 5 to the Gilmore Girls Fan Fiction On Eagle's Wings and second an new Fan Fiction section for Marching Band (yes, it is considered fan fiction, it's listed under Misc. at FanFiction.net) to which I have added the Cast List, Chapter 1, and Chapter 2 of Two Flutes, a Mello, and a Pitter. I'm a horrible, horrible person. I know I never update and I'm really sorry. I'll try and get some more writing up soon, within the next month. But if not I'll almost definately have some up over winter break. Everything's been so hectic with high school and all my band stuff. I'll hopefully get some writing done soon. I have added a link to Intense a Rory/Logan site that's really worthwhile if you like the couple. I might make some more linking buttons for the site tonight though, I don't have any homework since I came home sick and did what I had as soon as I got home. Who knows, maybe I'll even do some writing.

You may not believe it...but I've actually updated! First and most obvious is the new layout which is in honor of my best short story yet I believe, Rhinestone Tiara which is among the updates for my Original writing. The other short story is Pencil Nubs. I have two updates in the fanfiction area, both Gilmore Girls. I've added chapter four of On Eagle's Wings and my song fic to Maroon 5's She Will Be Loved, She Will Be Loved,. That's it for now...hopefully more soon.

I'm a shithead. Excuse my language. I keep writing, I swear I am, but I haven't updated any of it yet. I swear I will get around to it soon...eventually. But I will give you (another) update on where I am in writing right now. So, for my fan fics;
-He Wasn't Supposed to Come Back: No updates
-I Still Love You, You Idiot: A Rory/Dean I've been working on for awhile...but not much lately.
-Just Friends: I worked on it a bit after I last updated, but not much. I know where it's going though.
-On Eagle's Wings: I'm working on chapter 7 but I haven't gotten chapter 4 back from Erin beta-ing yet...that chapter will go up as soon as that happens.
-She Will Be Loved: Finished, beta-ed, done. Just need to add it, will do that with next update.
-Silent Reverie: Third in Angel Trilogy. Needs a lot of work.
-Untitled:The title sure tells you a lot there. It's an AU story taking place in the 70s during Vietnam. I know where it's going but haven't touched it in ages.
-Where Her Heart Lies: Waiting for beta-ed chapter from Kels.

No new writing but an update on where I am at the current time. I recently gave John and Kelsey (my main betas) the revised first chapter of Where Her Heart Lies. John has said it's fine and I have yet to get it back from Kelsey who is more critical than John (which is very useful for me). I'm still working on my one-parter, Just Friends which I mentioned, I believe two updates ago. In the meantime I have also written a songfic, She Will Be Loved based off of the song She Will Be Loved by Maroon 5. I have sent Emma (on of my On Eagle's Wings betas and my very good internet friend) a request to see if she'd beta it so that will be up when I get a reply from her. I also wrote a Short Story/Essay entitled Pencil Nubs which will be up with the next update I make hopefully. On Eagle's Wings and He Wasn't Supposed to Come Back haven't been worked on lately but I hope to get on that soon. I have no Alias works-in-progress and it may be awhile before I do because I have no ideas and am bummed because of the whole mid-season start.

Yeah, so I don't have any writing to put up yet. I am working on a sweet one-parter called Just Friends and I'm going to be giving Kelsey (my beta for the story) the first chapter of Where Her Heart Lies tonight so she can make corrections and give it back tomorrow. I'll try and have it up before I leave for Maryland Sunday. But I'm extremely happy because I've just discovered that Insomnia has been chosen as a nominee at the Proud and Prejudiced FanFiction Awards. Which is a big accomplishment for me because all the fanfic undergoes a pre-judgement so that it's good enough to be read by the judges. Anyways, hopefully there'll be updates soon.

Three fanfiction updates today. First in Alias fanfiction, I have added chapter 9 of When I Met My Father. Then in Gilmore Girls, chapter 2 of On Eagle's Wings and have added the prologue of a brand new story, Where Her Heart Lies. I'll try and do some more writing today possibly and more stuff will be up hopefully as soon as next week. Enjoy!

I have offically put up the last of the writing that wasn't posted here but was posted in other places. The prologue through chapter 8 of When I Met My Father (Alias) and prologue through chapter 5 of He Wasn't Supposed to Come Back (Gilmore Girls). I'm gonna do some writing tonight and hopefully that will be up next week! Possibly as early as Sunday.

Almost all of the old fics are up. Added today were, There's No Rewind in Life (Gilmore Girls), Christmas Without You (Alias Songfic), and Missing (Alias). Only When I Met My Father is left with the old fics, I'll try to even get that up tonight when I've got more time.

I found out that I only have like...four stories for Gilmore Girls that are old, two unfinished, that I need to transfer over here. And now it's only three! I've added Who Are You to my stuff. Apology for lack of updates...sorry! Hectic life, read about it in my blog if you really wanna know. First update is my crappy update...Rebel Without a Cause is up. Old, pretty crappy. It's written very simply, not much detail or anything. But I like it except for the end. Even though it's 28 chapters it's a quick read. And now for the good update...the one you've all been waiting for...On Eagle's Wings Chapter 1 will be up momentarily! A Whole New Life Back In An Old Place is up...or will be within the hour hopefully. Also, two new features! One is above, the most recently updated story will be linked up there for your convience. The second is on each page of writing. A comment section for constructive critism, praise, hate stuff...ect. Whatever you want to say about my writing, say it. It helps me in the long run.

OKay, just two pieces of crap today; A Rose for Rory and Cruel Summer. Both under the Gilmore Girls category. On the bright side...I hope to get chapter 1 of On Eagles Wings up soon and I've been getting betas which I love! (Thank you Erin, Emma, Lily, Kelsey, David [yes, I know. He's never seen an episode of Gilmore Girls in his life, but he's help], Allie, and Beth). But I'm still open to more people. Beta-ing for On Eagle's Wings is close, I have six, my goal was five...so I'm happy. I did start something new for Alias, a one parter but I'm not even past the first page so expect for a long delay on it. All for now!

Sorry I haven't updated. I was on spring break and then things have just been hectic, I'll try to hopefully get some stuff done Friday and Saturday such as finishing up the adding of my old stuff and I might possibly even get up On Eagle's Wings soon, I found my fifth beta and all I need is for her to return from vacation and read the first chapter and make her comments/suggestions/corrections and I'm all good. Anyways, still need betas for the other two Gilmore Girls fics and I'm gonna start working on a Alias one parter called Con Fuoco (with fire). Anways, that's all for now. Updates coming.

Okay, today's crap consists of...three Gilmore Girl fics, all old, one complete and useless crap and the other two okay. So I've added You Can't Change the Past and Revealing the Past (don't have anything to do with each other). I also added Black Eye but I turned it into a one-parter. I plan to add more soon but I would like betas/editors for (all Gilmore Girls):

Okay, first off, I'm sorry you guys keep getting updates of my old crap (as I lovingly refer to my writing as). Actually, some of it's new crap (all of the Alias ones) but still... What I'm trying to do is get up all my old stuff before I put any new stuff up so if you've read most of my writing, don't come back for like a week. Maybe even more, because right now it's just my old stuff coming in. After that I hope to get On Eagle's Wings (still looking for betas...I want lots!), Silent Reverie (third in Angel Trilogy, anyone want to beta?) (by the way, beta is like an editor), and Where Her Heart Lies which is fun to write although I've only got the prologue and part of one chapter (betas?). Also I'm going to try to write another Rory/Dean fic. Alias readers...um...I'm really low on ideas, sorry. For the most part, I won't be getting any original writing up. Possibly some of my sucky poetry.

Okay, somewhat large amount of stuff today. One poem which concludes the poetry Katie has selected so far (she has a little more to look through). One Alias fanfiction called Broken. It's basically about Vaughn's mistakes and how Sydney reacts. Syd's kind of out of character though, I warn you. I've also added two stories to the Short Stories/Essays. They're kinda essayey (okay, that's not a word) but they're really short. Especially the second one. I'm working on my (first) script and hope to have it up soon (a month or so, it needs a ton of rewriting). Thanks to John again for even more fixing up of the site!

I've added Insomnia to the Gilmore Girls fanfiction section. It's a one parter but I think it's one of my better pieces of writing. I hope to have time today to get up my last poem that Katie has picked out for me to post so far (she claims I'm a good poet so I made her pick the poems she likes and I'm posting those). I also hope to get up one of my Short Stories/Essays today and possibly another Alias fanfiction and more Gilmore Girls. But that's a lot and I've got to go to a water polo game today and I want to get some writing done too.
