Grampa Fogg
Our Grandfather was a farmer, a livestock dealer and owner.
He sold meat, dairy products door to door when he was young.
Gramp's was a very caring and loving person.
Gramp's always had a stick of gum in his pocket for a kid,
any kid.
Gramp's had many many grandchildren and treated us all
as if we were his number one grandchild.
Even when there were ten or twenty other grandchildren present,
No one felt left out and always felt loved by Him.
Our Gramp's loved people and square dancing.
It seemed everyone loved Him also.
Gramp's would take some of us grandkids to the dances.
He's drink a coke or Pepsi and maybe eat two hotdogs
with mustard and relish and salt.
I think if he'd of asked almost any of His grandchildren to
do something for Him most anyone would of bent over
backwards to try and please Him.
I shoveled/loaded horse and cow manure and spread it on the fields
for 25 cents a load in the 1950's and was pleased to do so.
Just so I'd have money to go to the dance with my Grandfather.

My Grandfather when he was happy
My Grandfather the afternoon he passed away.
Below is a special message that was read at Gramp's funeral
by one of his children:
A Special Dad
Dad had ten children, seven daughters and three sons.
To him each was as precious as if the only one.
He shared with us all our sickness and fears.
He felt our heartaches, our sorrow and tears.
If we were ever in need he would rather give than to lend.
He was known far and wide as a good neighbor and friend.
His honesty and integrity no one could out do.
Himself he forgot, so he could help me and you.
They speak of great preachers both far and wide.
But true religion a person can't hide.
Some curse and swear, cheat, lie, steal and drink.
To do any of these Dad just wouldn't think.
He was to busy caring for us children all te..
To have time for going out with the other men.
To bowl, to gamble, play cards and drink wine.
He was more concerned with your pleasures and mine.
If anyone had a problem, to dad they would go.
He was there to help when spirits were low.
To him we were more precious than all the worlds gold.
We appreciated Dad much though often not told.
Though his stature may not have been very tall.
Dads heart was as big as a giant.
And he was loved by ALL.
Signed With Love,
by His Beloved Children
