Me:From previous times we have talked, you mentioned you only been in NunSlaughter for around 3 years, How did you get involved in the band?
Grim:Duaniac got me the tryout, we played together in a local cleveland band called Sanctorum when i moved here. We both joined basically at the same time.
Me:You mentioned to me that a new album is coming out in the coming months. What is it gonna be called, and has the sound of NunSlaughter Changed in it? And is it gonna be Satanic like previous Releases?
Grim:The new album is called "Goat". Nunslaughers sound has not really changed the new album might be a little more produced and technical in some parts but its still classic NS. Nunslaughter will always be satanic.
Me:I read on your website (nunSlaughter.com) and in the "One Night In Hell" Album Cover, and by the song called the same, Could you explain "Deavil metal" To Me? It kinda sounds like a mix between Death/Black metal Minus The Pussy keyboards(I totally agree on that term). in my opinion.
Grim:Devil metal is just a term we use, it's basically evil satanic death metal nothing more.
Me:You Play bass, obviously. Who is your Inspiration or what band(s) Inspired you to want to play? or is it something you just decided to want to learn? and also how long have you been playing?
Grim:Steve Harris, Geezer Butler, Cliff Burton. I picked up the bass cause everyone i knew was playing guitar and figured it would be easier getting in a band that way. I have been playing for about 16 years.
Me:If NunSlaughter could go on a tour with and band(s), who would they be?
Grim:Deceased, Immolation, Mercyful fate tons more i can think of right now.
Me:What Type/Brand of Bass Do you play, and what brand of amps?
Grim:I use Ibanez basses and Ampeg amps.
Me:This is something I actually wanna personally ask, does the Satanic type lyrics sometime make you think, could we do something else? I mean it great and All, I think you guys rock Hard. but just curious.
Grim:I think all death metal should be evil and satanic, i was always fascinated by bands like this as a young kid like fate and vemom possessed anything with evil images.
Me:Was you in any previous Bands before NunSlaughter, and if so which ones?
Grim:Not many Delusion from 1988 to 1994, December Wolves from 1994 to 1998, Sanctorum from 1998 to 1999 and NS from 1999 to present.
Me:Considering there has been a few band changes, With Don being the only Original member,correct? what has cause the line up changes, or do you know?
Grim:I think lack of dedication and everyone sharing the same vision personally and musically this is not a typical hobby band its a bit more.
Me:Is there any Plans for any shows this upcoming summer, or either a tour of sorts?
Grim:Maybe a local show in july then off to Australia for 8 shows on the 30th, nothing planed when we return yet.

Grim:Will is a cool guy but not really a fan. I enjoy there samples though.

Grim:Gave up after the 1st 2 albums have not heard much since. I give them credit for never jumping trends and staying true.

Grim:Should spend more time of there music then there lame offensive t-shirts and girls dancing on stages. This music is made to appeal to 15 year old kids who this they are evil. Vampires and metal dont mix...Die!!!!!!!

Grim:Just dusted off ac/dc's back in black forgot how great this album is (was). I like the new god dethroned cd alot.
