Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets

Literary Elements:
Plot
Foreshadowing
Imagery

Imagery is basically the vision of the characters, places and events that are happening that the author puts into your head using the words. J.K. Rowling put in such great descriptions, that one can almost visually see whats happening while reading the book. So good that it's almost freighting.

Description of Dobby:

"The little creature on the bed had large, bat-like ears and bulging green eyes the size of tennis ballls. Harry noticed that it was wearing what looked like an old pillowcase with rips for arm- and leg-holes. The creature had such a high-pitched voice that Harry was sure it was going to carrt down stairs."
