In My Daughter's Eyes
Martina McBride

In my daughter's eyes I am a hero
I am strong and wise and I know no fear
But the truth is plain to see
She was sent to rescue me
I see who I wanna be
In my daughter's eyes

In my daughter's eyes everyone is equal
Darkness turns to light and the
world is at peace
This miracle God gave to me gives me
strength when I am weak
I find reason to believe
In my daughter's eyes

And when she wraps her hand
around my finger
Oh it puts a smile in my heart
Everything becomes a little clearer
I realize what life is all about

It's hangin' on when your heart
has had enough
It's giving more when you feel like giving up
I've seen the light
It's in my daughter's eyes

In my daughter's eyes I can see the future
A reflection of who I am and what will be
Though she'll grow and someday leave
Maybe raise a family
When I'm gone I hope you see how happy
she made me
For I'll be there
In my daughter's eyes

Breanna Elise came into the world on September 24th, 2002. She was 17 days early and still as healty as can be. I was induced early due to pre-eclampsia and after 23 1/2 hours of labor, I ended up with a c-section. And Miss Priss was born at 8:04 pm. She came into the world with a healty little cry and hasn't stopped talking since. Hehe

At birth, Breanna was 7 lbs 5 oz, and 20 1/4 inches long. At her 18 month check up, Breanna was 21 lbs, and 32 inches long. She's in the 25th percentile for her weight. And in the 50th percentile for her height. Her doctor says she's "just perfect". I have to agree. :) Below are some of Breanna's favorites. I'll keep adding on and I hope to get a chart on here of her weight and height since birth. Keep checking back!

9.24.05 - Happy 3rd Birthday, Breanna banana! At her 3 year old check up, Breanna weighs in at 29 lbs and 35 inches tall. She's a petite little girl, and very very active! Some of the things she is into right now are Blues Clues, cats, dress-up (especially hats!), Disney Princesses (especially Ariel), play dough, The Wiggles, Clifford, coloring and anything artsy, make up, reading books, and dolls.

Breanna's favorite thing to do is play pretend. She loves her little kitchen set, and is always cooking up something good to "eat". She got a really nice vanity set from our friends Misty and Jackson for her birthday and she loves to put on her make up and do her hair before she packs her little purse and goes to "work". Breanna is a very imaginative little girl, and always has something going on. She loves her school and all her friends there, and she comes home every day talking about what she learned and who she played with. Unfortunately, she's also begun to tell little fibs! And as far as potty training goes... well, let's not even talk about that. haha! She'll do it when she's ready. And she's just not ready at the moment. But I gurantee you'll be the first ones to know when she is ready!
