I have changed this letter a little bit since they have passed away.
Thank you Nancy and Conrad
for loving me and taking me as one of your kids.
In 1995, when you both came into my life
I was down and out,
you and Conrad were there for me from the beginning.
I just stopped drinking
and needed help you two showed me what a friendship was all about
I am so grateful for you both in my life
God used you both to get through to this stubborn kid that I was.
I was lost confused and full of anger
you both helped me see, and helped me walk through so much,
you both were there for me
I will never forget the love you gave to me.
I put together this graphic
with nancy's picture in it.
I remember the times I spent helping you with day care
it was the best form of recovery
I could have of ever asked for.
Nancy you showed me through your actions what love is.
You loved those children
with all your heart
I saw the love you had.
It was so beautiful to experience watching you in action.
You have been an inspiration.
Conrad I saw your love you had for Nancy
helping her with the kids.
You two have a wonderful relationship.
You both showed me what a good relationship is.
Because of the beautiful relationship you both had.
Phil and I have a wonderful relationship today.
I thank you both.
Phil and I thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
I remember the times we would talk.
Nancy and I were sitting on the couch and Conrad you were in the chair
you both helped me through so much in my life
You were there when I was going through the court
with my son
I have tears in my eyes as I am writing this.
