“THE SLEEPER!” From the outside you might think it’s just another Lancer… Seeing the inside you’d say “What a ricer wanna be!” Then the car launches, leaving you behind in utter awe and disbelief!

Purchased in June of 2002, Boe saw its potential but couldn’t find mods to get him where he wanted to be. Thus he turned to a Zex NOS System. This cheap and easy mod came at a costly price. Not once, but twice, Boe learned the hard way that the stock pistons, truly the Lancer’s weakest link, would not take the squeeze.

Then, by a miracle, along came Road Race Motorsports (RRM). Hearing about them through a vendor, he investigated the company where he met Robert Tallini and Gabe. Soon, not only did they become friends but Boe became a very good customer buying virtually everything RRM had to offer. The list includes… RRM sway bar, strut bar, perches, Eibach springs, larger throttle body, JE pistons, RRM clutch / pressure plate set, B&M short shifter, RRM test pipe, header, Magnaflow exhaust, RRM LSD, and the RRM Non-Intercooled turbo kit w/ Greddy turbo timer, VDO boost gauge, and boost controller. Boe also had the rods shot-peened, the head ported / polished / matched, and the intake manifold bored out as well.

How did all this turn out? Boe is now the fastest US Lancer OZ, that’s how! With a 13.82 ¼ mile at 101MPH, Boe took the title then drove home to spread the word and post his triumph on www.evolutionm.net.

So what’s next for Boe? Well Boe simply said... 12’s. With RRM’s products backing him he is confident this will happen soon!
