Tue 25th November 2003-
Well just 4 days to go before I fly out to Buenos Aires and I am very excited. I have 18 hours of flying ahead of me with a stop in Washington for 2 hours.
I have been sorting through all my kit which is now spread all over the floor. I have no idea how I am going to fit it all in to one rucksack.

Today was spent doing the odd little bits that needed doing ready for the trip, and I also messed around with this website. With only 2 days to go I am getting kind of excited. Ive been reading all about the climb ahead of me in an excellent guide book I have scanned in below. My plans are to head out to the mountains shortly after Boxing day, having spent Christmas in Buenos Aires. Plans are plans and who know what might end up happening. It is going to be strange being out of the country for the entire month of Christmas, but at least over there it is their summer time. Catch up later.
Friday 29th November 2003
Just completed the last few things on my big list ready for tomorrow. Packed my rucksack very tightly, so much so I managed to break one of the clips doing so! With a little impovising with a bit of velcro it should hold together. My bag is only 10Kg over the weight limit which is not too bad. I cooked my special 'spag bowl' for mum and dad today as we celebrated with a few beers and wine. I feel pretty relaxed considering, but i think that is from all the beer and wine. Well I think this will be my last entry in this country. Next stop Argentina.
